Gimme The Greens Macro Bowl

This bowl is the way to balance out the donuts I ate over the last week on our road trip. They were absolutely delicious and absolutely necessary as I can't pass up a chance at a Nashville, Five Daughters Donut. Now though, my body is begging for a bowl of savory greens. This macro bowl delivers lean protein, healthy fats, lots of flavor and the tons of veggies that my body is CRAVING!  Hope you devour one this week before all the Christmas goodies next week!

Organic chicken breast (rotisserie or baked)

1/2 cup roasted broccoli

Giant handful fresh baby spinach (or spring greens)

2 baby bella mushrooms chopped + sautéed 

5-6 Trader Joe's organic spicy pickles, diced

1 tbsp red pepper hummus

1/4 - 1/2 avocado diced

Cilantro chopped

Pepper  + pink salt

White sesame seeds 


Fill your bowl with the baby spinach.

Layer in chicken breast,  roasted broccoli, sautéed mushrooms and pickles. 

Add hummus against the side of the bowl + top with avocado. 

Season with salt, pepper, cilantro + sesame seeds.

Dig in. ;)
