10 Instagrams You Can't Live Without
I love Instagram. There I said it. I know I'm supposed to crave social media fasts and wish I lived in the 'good ole days' but here I am, a 29 year old stay at home mom of two living 1,100 miles away from the place I called home for most of my life. I need the gram.
Before you judge, of course it must be put in it's place. I'm not saying I love to just sit and scroll all day long; nah. But I love seeing my friend's families grow, what my sister cooked for dinner, the ridiculous sunglasses my dad just bought and the new donut shop opening up that I'll visit next time I'm home.
Instagram is a powerful tool for connecting us to people we never would meet otherwise. People that share their brilliance with us, people that inspire us, people that can evoke a laugh on really long days and bring joy. Simply put: in the correct priority, instagram can be a positive thing. So tap into the beneficial wonderland of Instagram. Here are the people I find the most inspiring + fantastic to keep up with.
@leefromamerica (Lee Tilghman)
Lee From America is a genius food stylist, recipe developer and definitely a servantlesss badass woman. She speaks to the empowerment of listening to your body + living holistically. Aside from her beautiful food, Lee shares her passion for cycle syncing, hormone health and her love of all her plant babies.
@cocokindskincare (Priscilla Tsai)
Priscilla is not only incredibly wise but funny too. You will learn how to take care of your skin + be entertained as you do. Priscilla is the real deal. You can sense it as you watch her stories and hear her passion for clean skin care pour out of her. Not to mention her products are not only organic, so clean you can eat and complete game changers but they're HELLA affordable. She is an entrepreneur, a crusher of skin-care myths and a dancer moreover.
@organiceverything (Christine Yoon)
If you desire to be inspired in your home, this is the one insta you must search out and follow now. Christine has a pure, clean style to her interior design that will motivate you to bring the same into your own home. Also her love of vintage ensemble music is a nice change of pace from the Drake playing on everyone else's story. Thanks Christine.
@thealisonshow (Alison Faulkner)
Dancer, party thrower, branding expert, event planner, mom and wife. Plus she can teach you how to make the most beautiful cookies. She literally does it all. You can't leave her page in a bad mood. Positive vibes radiate off her dance-move filled feed and I can't get enough of it. Aside from all the fun, Alison brings truth, realness and a beautiful light shined on mental health awareness. You will undoubtedly laugh out loud and learn a few ways to feel awesome too.
Sometimes you just need to be reminded that YOU ARE WORTH LOVING. This insta is a cozy, warm hug with a refreshing aesthetic. You will be encouraged, uplifted and prompted to pay that feeling forward. Their feed is proof that social media can be merry + compelling.
@faringwell (Jessie Snyder)
Jessie's feed is just what her insta claim to be; learning to fare well. I live somewhat vicariously through Jessie's sunny California kitchen. She propels the farm to table movement like no one else and does it with a simple beauty and grace. She focuses more on creating her own versions of high end grocery items rather than trying to find a way to purchase them. Her charming bike rides alongside her husband and hauls from the local farmer's market are nothing short of goals.
@minimalistbaker (Dana Shultz)
Big name, celebrity food blogger status right here. Dana brings a down to earth feel to her recipes even though they are exquisite in every way. She makes cooking feel effortless + enjoyable. Trust in her recipes, they will not fail you.
@twistoflemons (Katie Lemon)
I have learned so much from Katie. She is a functional medicine nutrition student and shares the why behind all the good mood food. She speaks a lot on gut health, feeding your brain and dealing with stress through the means of food. In between all the pretty plates are some handstands and puns. Soak up this girl's insight because it's beyond brilliant.
Because everyone needs ample photos of the best donuts on earth. Enough said.
@floliving (Alisa Vitti)
R E V O L U T I O N A R Y. Author of 'Woman Code' and creator of the My Flo App, Alisa is a bright lightt in the conversation on women's health. She speaks passionately about hormonal imbalance and knowing our bodies better. There is such perspective brought by her voice. She sets the woman up to be empowered by better understanding how your body cycles each month. She is a game changer.
Not to be conceded; but we hope our feed is one that will bring you encouragement, joy, humor and good vibes. We aim to share our journey towards a simpler life that's abundantly full of authenticity. Join us in cultivating a radiant community of powerful women. Beyond our own thoughts and opinions we want to share your stories and experiences. A collective voice. Beautiful connections. Simplicity made known.
