Green Fella Smoothie

The smoothie that made me fall in love with smoothies. Thanks little green fella. I owe ya one. I love the simplicity of smoothies. Everything I need for an entire meal in one blender,  whirled together in about 60 seconds and then sprinkled with beautiful ornaments like dark cacao nibs, coconut shreds and tiny chia seeds. Bliss in a bowl.

Green Fella Smoothie

 

INGREDIENTS

1.5 cups almond milk 

1/2 cup frozen kale

1/2 frozen zucchini

1 scoop collagen peptides

1 scoop vanilla protein powder 

1/4 cup frozen papaya

giant handful of fresh or frozen leafy greens 

handful of ice cubes

(OPTIONAL ADAPTOGENS/HERBS)

1/2 tsp maca powder

1/2 tsp reishi

1/2 tsp pine pollen

 

INSTRUCTIONS

BLEND 

Favorite toppings: 

Chia seeds

Unsweetened coconut shreds

Raw cashews

Cacao nibs

ALMOND BUTTER SMUDGE NOT OPTIONAL 

I love pouring these in a stainless steel mug and taking them in the car wherever we’re headed.
